My motivations:
Hello friends!
I'm heading back to 24h Tremblant with my colleagues from EDC to support children's hospital charities, including the CHEO Foundation.
Last year I was able to raise over $1,000 for the cause, thanks to the generosity of my friends, family and co-workers. I think it's the most money I've raised for anything, and it felt great to see all those donations come in. The event itself was also lots of fun, even though I caught an edge and faceplanted on my 3 a.m. run, the results of which you can see in my profile pic.
So my goals this year are simple:
1. Raise more, crash less.
2. Help the hospitals without needing help from a hospital.
Kidding aside, 24h Tremblant is a great cause that I'm proud to support. As a parent, I'm grateful that my kids' visits to our children's hospital have been for minor injuries--broken arm, a bad cut, corrective surgery for a minor issue, etc. Other families have not been so fortunate, and they rely on the CHEO team to provide the complex medical care and support their children need to get better. I'm happy to have an opportunity to support their work.
Thanks so much for your donations!
Susan
