Je veux participer à la course de 24h Tremblant pour plusieurs raisons profondes et personnelles. Tout d'abord, ayant été diagnostiqué avec la Leucémie Aiguë Lymphoblastique (LAL) à deux reprises dans ma jeunesse, je suis intimement conscient de la lutte que représente cette maladie. La première fois que j'ai reçu ce diagnostic, j'avais 8 ans et j'ai dû subir une chimiothérapie. À l'âge de 14 ans, la maladie est revenue et j'ai dû subir à nouveau la chimiothérapie, en plus d'une radiothérapie et une greffe de cordon ombilical.

Cette course symbolise pour moi un acte de résilience, une démonstration de ma force intérieure face aux épreuves de la vie. C'est également une façon de soutenir ceux qui sont actuellement dans la lutte contre le cancer, de donner espoir et de montrer que l'on peut non seulement survivre, mais aussi prospérer malgré les défis. Finalement, je souhaite participer à cette course pour soutenir les efforts de recherche et de sensibilisation contre le cancer, afin qu'un jour, plus aucun enfant n'ait à traverser ce que j'ai vécu.

I want to participate in the 24h Tremblant race for several deep and personal reasons. First and foremost, having been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) twice in my youth, I am acutely aware of the struggle this disease represents. The first time I was diagnosed, I was 8 years old and had to undergo chemotherapy. At 14, the disease returned and I had to undergo chemotherapy again, in addition to radiation therapy and an umbilical cord transplant.

This race symbolizes for me an act of resilience, a demonstration of my inner strength in the face of life's trials. It is also a way to support those who are currently in the fight against cancer, to give hope and to show that one can not only survive but also thrive despite the challenges. Finally, I wish to participate in this race to support research efforts and raise awareness against cancer, so that one day, no child will have to go through what I experienced.
