This is my fourth year involved in this event. Honestly, I didn't really get it my first year, I knew the cause was important and impactful, but hearing the stories and meeting the kids who were being sponsored, I KNEW I would be back year after year.

This year, we are raising funds beside Pierre-Antoine, an 8 year old who has spent so much time and energy just to be understood. Imagining my boys fighting to communicate breaks my heart, and although I am so proud that Pierre-Antoine has persevered and is thriving, I know some of this is because of the support offered through programs funded by the foundation.

We are all touched, directly or indirectly, by children's causes. It is incredibly heartening and gratifying to know that our efforts lead to concrete changes in their lives.

I appeal to your generous heart in helping me reach my target, which will in turn help advance this worthy cause.
