My motivations:
In 2002 my three week old daughter Lily contracted RSV and spent a harrowing 10 days at CHEO in an oxygen tent. With RSV cases rising at an alarming rate I am having frightening flashbacks of watching Lily's oxygen levels and her tiny heartbeat on the monitors, and I'm full of gratitude for the full recovery that she made thanks to the incredible care we received at CHEO. Lily is now an accomplished young women in her third year of University and I'm keenly aware that these are different times in our emergency rooms and I can't imagine going through that now with the issues that CHEO and our area hospitals are facing post-covid. There has never been a time in history when we needed to pull together as the private sector to support our institutions that keep our kids healthy, and that's why I am participating in 24 Hour Tremblant on the CHEO Champions team and hope that you will consider donating to my efforts.
