My name is Malik, I'm 4 years old (going on 5) and have acute lymphoblastic leukemia (type B)
Since being diagnosed with leukemia last February 22, I have spent a lot of time in hospital; my treatment will be finished in 2024. It was a shock to my family. Some days we feel strong, other days are harder. As mom says, we have to learn to control our emotions and accept living with the disease. My family does everything for me. They taught me how to skate when I was two years old and I went down a ski slope for the first time when I was three! I really like playing with my big brother Éloïc. My dream come true would be to visit a dinosaur park someday! I really like dinosaurs and superheroes – especially Hulk, because he's green... like dinosaurs!
We are fortunate to have a Charles-Bruneau unit close to home!
For Malik and his family, the 24h is... Donations that change lives!
Thank you for being an important part of this vast wave of solidarity.
You’re giving children hope for a brighter future through various programs and research projects funded by the 24h and its beneficiaries: Fondation Charles-Bruneau, CHEO Foundation and Fondation Tremblant.
Your donations matter. They make a real difference in the lives of Malik and thousands of children.
