Hi, my name is Florence. I'm 19 years old and in remission from papillary carcinoma of the thyroid gland
The disease has definitely had an impact on my everyday life. Cancer is scary! Because of my many surgeries, I had to stop doing gymnastics, which I adored. My childhood was turned upside down and I was pushed into adulthood way too soon. But there is a bright side: I live life to the fullest! I am energetic and have a lot of fun – as anyone can see on my social accounts! For me, anytime is a good time to spend with family members.
My biggest dream is still that all children have the same opportunities to be cured. I attend CEGEP in Sherbrooke and would like to work in communications. To speak out and inspire others? That's what I want to do!
Thanks to Fondation Charles-Bruneau, we're not alone in this!
For Florence, the 24h is... Inspiring others to live life with a positive outlook.
Thank you for being an important part of this vast wave of solidarity.
You’re giving children hope for a brighter future through various programs and research projects funded by the 24h and its beneficiaries: Fondation Charles-Bruneau, CHEO Foundation and Fondation Tremblant.
Your donations matter. They make a real difference in the lives of Florence and thousands of children.
