Eva - in remission

Hello, my name is Eva. I am 7 years old and I have acute myeloid leukemia (Granulocytic Sarcoma).

I was hospitalized for several months for very aggressive chemotherapy treatments. It was a heart-wrenching time for our family at the start of the pandemic because we had to be separated. It has not all been easy. I developed an allergy to the chemo that partially paralysed me. I also had a bacterial infection that caused respiratory distress that left me in intensive care for several days. I love playing basketball, but in the spring, I fractured my right femur and had a micro-fracture in the left tibia. My bones are fragile now! My mom says I have kept my beautiful smile through all this! I live in Montérégie, and I would really like to take a trip and someday live in a house like a Barbie dollhouse. In the meantime, I am making TikToks! I have made a few with the nurses.
