Hi, my name is Alyah. I'm 8 years old and the Ewing sarcoma in my right arm is in remission
After many months of chemotherapy, at least a million injections, and countless nights at the hospital, I underwent a risky surgical procedure to remove the tumour and am now in remission. Although my chemo sessions are finished and I go to the hospital just once every three months, I wear an arm brace at all times and must be very careful with my arm. I enjoy swimming and learned how to ski as soon as my doctor gave me permission last winter. I love it! I like to laugh, snuggle and have a good time. I have a cat named Gilbert who is super cute. But most of all, I've got the best family in the world! My father, mother and sister are fantastic!
Fondation Charles-Bruneau makes all the difference!
