The 4th edition of the 24h of cycling will take place once again on the pristine asphalted tracks of the Circuit Mont-Tremblant on September 6-8 2013. Recreational and performance cyclists are welcome to this event which is primarily a fundraiser, as well as a weekend to have fun with your team mates while pushing your limits and challenging yourself! The fundraising profits are distributed to four beneficiaries, all of which support children’s causes.
Whether you participate for the fun, the challenge or the cause, the experience promises to be unforgettable and deeply meaningful.
FOR THE FUN…
Cycle in the safety of a private circuit in the magnificent region of Mont-Tremblant and enjoy a weekend filled with great memories and outdoor animation and activities for both participants and spectators.
FOR THE CHALLENGE…
The pivotal activity of the 24h is a team cycling relay race (within a participation or performance category), that takes place over 24 consecutive hours on the Circuit Mont-Tremblant. Teams take on the feat of cycling as many laps as possible during the 24 hour period, but above all the ultimate quest is to raise the maximum possible amount in aid of the beneficiary foundations.
FOR THE CAUSE…
Thanks to the participation of 125 teams and a total of 1030 cyclists in 20112, the 3rd edition of the event raised the incredible sum of $604,338 for children fighting cancer and underprivileged kids via the beneficiary foundations; the Grand Défi Pierre Lavoie, the Sainte-Justine UHC Foundation, the Cedars Cancer Institute, and Fondation Tremblant.
