Here is the second part of the training program, provided by La Source trainers, that we thank again!
3. Agility
Development of agility, balance and coordination improves your skiing style.
Lateral jumps on a bench
Place your feet on each side of a bench. Step 3 times on the ground and twice on the bench (1,2,3 – 1,2 … 1,2,3 – 1,2…) alternating the right and left legs. Do it as fast as you can, giving your brain a chance…. To increase the intensity, raise the height of the bench and be careful not to trip.
4. Leg flexibility
Developing flexibility in the hamstrings and quadriceps can prevent knee and back injuries.
Stretching the hamstrings
Standing erect, stretch a leg out in front of your and place your foot on a bench. Lean forward towards that leg. Hold the position for 30 seconds. Be careful! Keep your hips square to your foot, don’t force or push, and don’t bounce to increase the amount of lean.
Stretching the quadriceps
Standing erect, bend a leg back and take your foot in your hand. Pull the heel towards your butt. Hold the position for 30 seconds. For more stretch, bend the supporting leg and pull the knee backwards.
Here is a short version of the program, which is intended for beginner, intermediate and advanced skiers and riders.

Hello and Greetings ! We are a new and as yet small part of the Tremblant Internet “Social Media”. Our name is http://www.tremblantchat.com . We have a member “CMG” who is one of the organizers of a team in your event. We have endorsed this project 110% and we would like to look at any other ways that we can help develop this fundraiser.
As a 30 plus year member of Rotary International Service Club, I am very much aware of the importance of this type of fundraising to the community.
If you take a moment to scan the “Last 30 posts” on the http://www.tremblantchat.com chat home page(Click on @ lower left corner of page), you will see what I have written there about our involvement with our members team and the 24 @ Tremblant.
Some “Social Media” like to have gossip and politics, but we want to be a more technical Ski/Board and Tremblant support site, so you will see we have fitness, Ski Instruction, Nutrition and other Lifestyle content designed to help people have a better quality experience based on personal improvements.
We think that giving back to the community through involvement in this effort will enrich not only the lives of the Kids who will benefit, but all who take part in such a worthy cause.
We look forward to hearing back from you as your time permits and we welcome any additional means of communication you feel are appropriate.
Sincerely, QT for http://www.tremblantchat.com
